A county apprentice has been shortlisted for a top award for her work at Woodhorn Museum.
Sophie Sutherland, from Newbiggin, has been shortlisted in the national Creative & Cultural Skills Awards ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category.
Nineteen-year-old Sophie is business and data apprentice at bait, based at Woodhorn, and is currently working to complete her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship through Northumberland College.
The Apprentice of the Year Award is open to those working in the creative industries who have shown exceptional ambition and talent.
Sophie will find out the outcome at the awards in March.
