SPRING is well and truly underway at Kirkley Hall.
Nearly a hundred lambs have already been born on the farm and Northumberland College students studying agriculture and animal care have been helping to deliver the tiny bundles into the world.
But it is not just sheep and cattle who have had new additions at Kirkley Hall.
At the zoological gardens next door, two tiny meerkat pups were recently introduced to the world, swelling the meerkat population to five.
