Berries were for the birds

Just had to write and say whose brilliant idea was it to cut the trees at the welfare in Cramlington?

The trees were covered in berries ready for the birds during the winter.

Now what will they have to eat?

Could they not have been cut down after the spring at least, so it would have given them time to grow again?

I am a dog walker and they have churned up the grass and there are loads of loose branches everywhere.

Thank you to whoever it was.

The birds will go hungry and my feet are now covered in mud every time I go for a walk.

We have not got a lot of places to take our dogs for a walk, and it used to be a lovely place for birds and dogs. Not now.
