One of Northumberland’s newest breweries is hoping to get the drinks flowing as they bring their real ale to a wider audience.
Ashington-based Acton Ales is one of the county’s newest microbreweries, relying on the 18 years experience in the real ale industry its owners have.
It has been brought together by founder and master brewer Paul Johnson, Michael Sproat and John Pringle, from the Portland Bar and Grill in Ashington.
They are aiming to create a range of ales in both cask and bottles, hoping to entice new customers along the way.
Among the new and exciting products are the popular Seahouses, American Dark Knight and Golden Cocker.
One of the brewery’s biggest supporters is local millionaire property developer and former Newcastle United chairman, Sir John Hall, who is championing the developments at Acton Ales.
