Building deemed unsafe after part of it collapses
Part of a building has collapsed in a Northumberland town.
Emergency teams were called to Church Street, in Cramlington, today (Tuesday) after reports of an unsafe building.
Officials from Northumberland County Council are also helping deal with the situation after some brickwork collapsed.
It is believed no one was injured in the incident and the area has been cordoned off.
A police spokesperson said: “Emergency services and Local Authority are at the scene and dealing with this.
“There are no traffic issues.
“No one has been injured and the area has been cordoned off as a precaution.”
