A drive to keep bullies at bay has earned recognition for a Cramlington school.
Eastlea Primary has set up a number of initiatives to spread the message that it will not tolerate bullying of any form, including holding a friendship week and setting up buddy stations.
And now the Year 4 pupils have received an Anti-Bullying/Stay Safe award.
It follows an interactive workshop, led by David Burn of Be Safe, which included advice on cyber bullying and how to stay safe in the modern world.
A school spokeswoman said: “The children really enjoyed the workshop and were inspired to put into practice some of the advice.”
