BUS STATION: Work already under way

I feel compelled to point out that Alnwick Town Council and the Sustainable Transport Working Group (STWG), neither of which is political, are already heavily involved in pursuing improvements to the bus station and are in discussions with several interested parties.

Indeed, the option of forming a trust to raise funds for Alnwick Bus Station is curiously similar to an idea already suggested.

I would respectfully submit that politicising the Alnwick Bus Station issue is not helpful and may even delay the progress being made by the town council and the STWG.
