A Blyth-based business is celebrating after passing an annual inspection with flying colours.
Cleardata, a UK document management company, passed its inspection for BSI’s ISO27001 and ISO9001 accreditations – assuring the business for Information Security and Quality Management Systems.
The company, based on the Riverside Business Park, provides a combination of outsourced services and solutions, including document scanning, digital mail room and invoice processing services, which are proving popular with businesses looking to reduce costs and save time on manual paper processes.
In a competitive environment, the BSI accreditations provide Cleardata with a clear differentiator, helping to secure new contracts with large businesses on the basis of assured quality and security.
The assurance processes are an integral part of Cleardata’s business.
Operations director Bob Wood said: “Our team works very hard to ensure we remain compliant with these standards.
“We aim to give our customers absolute confidence that we operate to the highest standards in the quality of our operation and protection of their data.
“The use of BSI, a brand that is synonymous with British Standards, was an important factor in the choice of our auditors.
“The accreditation is particularly relevant for organisations with finance, HR and health records and ensures clients can entrust their records with our team.”
The bureau digitises more than three million paper images every month, acting as a digital mail room for several organisations.
Paperwork is captured on arrival and data is automatically extracted using smart capture software.
The company also receives and processes digital invoices.
Cloud document management is used to store and route data to the right person via automated workflow, saving time on manual processing.
