A new business coach is helping entrepreneurs unlock their full growth potential.

Oxford Innovation has announced the appointment of associate coach Sandra Innes, who will work from their regional HQ in Ashington.

The specialist business coaching company delivers £1.35m investment devised to stimulate economic prosperity and growth in Northumberland.

Sandra’s appointment comes after four new recruits joined the organisation in February to meet demand from companies across the county.

Since launching the Business Northumberland High Growth Programme in April 2013, Oxford Innovation has been working with a wide range of local businesses.

Sandra, who hails from Scotland and moved to Northumberland 13 years ago, has more than 20 years business development experience working for ICI and a further six years working with SMEs in the north east.

During five years at RTC North, she worked with a wide range of regional businesses on marketing and strategy projects, helping companies access finance and develop overseas sales. She is highly skilled at identifying and addressing key tactical issues and a practiced facilitator for business teams developing new strategies and marketing plans.

Welcoming Sandra to the company, Mike Jobson, Business Northumberland High Growth programme manager at Oxford Innovation, said: “We are delighted to have Sandra on board.

“She has a wealth of expertise which will be of huge benefit to our growing client base.”

Despite the recent challenging economic circumstances, Oxford Innovation has helped its clients across the UK access more than £100m of funding, creating and safeguarding over 2,000 jobs.
