Staff from Sainsburys Cramlington visited Helen mcardle dementia ward on Wednesday, March 23.

Workers from the town’s supermarket took Easter eggs, cakes and hot cross buns along to the local Helen McArdle dementia ward.

Both residents and staff were delighted to see the team from Sainsbury’s, and enjoyed tucking into the goodies to satisfy their sweet teeth.

With cups of tea and music on the go, the residents got to dance with some of the staff as well.

Residents had lots to eat and everyone was thrilled to see them having so much fun.

After a lovely day, the staff returned to Sainsbury’s knowing that they had left an Easter smile on the residents at Helen McArdle.
