There was a special treat for care home residents as they enjoyed some wicked Halloween fun.
Residents of Scarbrough Court in Cramlington were invited to a Halloween party by local charity MIND Active.
The event was held at Briardale Community Centre in Blyth, which was decorated with spooky Halloween themed garlands, for people with dementia and their families.
Guests got in the spirit of the event, donning witch and wizard costumes, and enjoyed food and entertainment, including singing and dancing.
RMBI Scarbrough Court activities co-ordinator Dawn Peters said: “The day was a great opportunity for residents to get together and enjoy the celebrations.
“A special highlight of the day was the visit of children from the local nursery, who joined residents to dance and sing along to songs.”
