A Cramlington care home has scored highly in a national survey of residents for the second year in a row.
Astor Court and Astor Lodge View care home in East Cramlington has recently taken part in the country’s largest and most authoritative survey of care home residents.
Astor Court has come out with an overall performance rating (OPR) of 960 out of 1,000, and Astor Lodge View scored the maximum 1,000.
The nation-wide survey, called Your Care Rating, is designed to give residents a voice about how well care homes perform.
Mandy Mackley, care manager at the Astor Court facility, said: “It’s great that our residents value the care they receive at Astor Court and Asto Lodge View.
“Our scores across the four themes are really positive, which shows that life for our residents is happy and fulfilling.”
