Scarbrough Court in Cramlington, has joined forces with Bedlington-based MIND Active to enable people living with dementia to be part of their local community.

Maureen Rolf, activities coordinator at Scarbrough Court, said: “We all know the benefits of keeping active but it can often be a challenge for some of our residents who are unable to get out and about as easily as they used to.

“Working with MIND Active, we are able to support our residents to meet regularly, socialise and build friendships with other care home residents in a friendly and safe environment.”
