Blyth Sports Centre opened its doors to more than 400 young people as it hosted an event to help them on the career path.
The Northumberland Careers Event saw teenagers, aged 16 to 19, meet a range of local training providers, colleges and employers.
More than 50 exhibitors had stands providing information, while a demonstration area was set up to showcase courses in bricklaying, hairdressing, smoothie making, craft, waffles and exotic animals.
Blyth Valley MP Ronnie Campbell, who attended the event, praised the wealth of information available to young people.
And organisers were delighted with the positive feedback from the youngsters.
