Monte Carlo is coming to Morpeth when a charitable organisation holds a charity casino night.
The Morpeth Lions will host the night at Riverside Lodge, on Saturday, February 28, to raise money for ‘Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care’.
As well as getting ‘funny money’ to gamble with, the £15 entry charge includes a free draw, supper and cabaret featuring local singers ‘Along came Lola’.
There will also be a raffle and the evening will finish with a Blind Auction.
Morpeth Lions Club president, Stuart Lewis, said: “Having received a talk from the charity we were greatly impressed with the work they do throughout Northumberland and Durham; much of which is by volunteers. I hope that the proceeds of our event will make a useful contribution.
“We aim to provide a fun evening that will hopefully leave our guests asking for more. The main aim, however, is that the charity will greatly benefit.”
Tickets are now available by calling (01670) 513169.
