Police investigating a theft from a Northumberland supermarket have released an image of a woman they’d like to trace.
At around 7.10pm on Thursday, May 14, a woman approached the self-service checkouts at the Sainsbury’s store in the Manor Walks shopping centre in Cramlington.
She scanned a number of items including alcohol, sweets and chocolate before leaving the store without paying.
Officers have now released an image of a woman they would like to speak to about the incident. She was in the store at the time of the theft and could help police with their inquiries.
The woman, or anyone who knows her, is asked to contact police on 101 extension 69191, quoting reference 512 14/05/15, or independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
