Families visiting the Keel Row shopping centre in Blyth over the summer holidays find plenty to keep the children entertained with crafty club sessions.
Each club will be suitable for all children who have an interest in arts and crafts or are just about learning to draw.
They officially launched on Monday and will run from 11am – 4pm.
From making pencil cases and masks to themed craft events, the workshops will aim to keep the children entertained whilst parents do their shopping.
Callum Reid, Keel Row centre manager, said: “I’m really excited about having these summer clubs here at Keel Row.
“It will be a great way for the children to interact with one another in a creative environment, full of competitions and games and I look forward to seeing how it all turns out.”
On Monday, August 12, a ‘Fun in the Sun’ workshop will brighten up the day with a small sandpit, deckchairs, and a pirate.
The youngsters will be able to enjoy drawing competitions and play games.
Then on Monday, August 26, the ‘Back to School’ workshop aims to get the children ready to go back to school.
Each youngster attending this workshop will design their own pencil case ready for them to take to school in September.
