A meeting is being held tonight for businesses in Cramlington to discuss the creation of a Chamber of Trade.
Cramlington Development Trust, which was formed in 2011 to address local economic and social issues through community ownership and enterprise, is looking into the possibility of setting up the Chamber of Trade to represent local businesses to provide a link to the community and to facilitate networking.
The Development Trust has held discussions with the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) concerning the possibility of establishing a local Chamber of Trade for Cramlington.
Cramlington Development Trust has organised a meeting of all businesses in Cramlington to propose the establishment of a Chamber of Trade for the town.
The Meeting will take place today – Thursday, June 20, at Craster Court, Manor Walks, at 5.30pm and be addressed by Les Dixon of the North East Chamber of Commerce and Bruno Copolla, Manor Walks’ centre manager, who will speak about the redevelopment of the shopping centre and the opening of the new cinema.
