A young singing sensation has beaten thousands of other performers from the region to win through to the grand final of a talent competition.
Twelve-year-old Chloe Weallans-Watts, from Cramlington, was picked by judges to go through to the final of the Teenstar competition after wowing them with her rendition of Clown, by Emile Sande,at the weekend’s regional final.
Chloe will now travel to London in July to perform live at the O2 Arena for the chance to win the competition.
Chloe’s mum Claire said: “She is over the moon to have got through to the final, and she has done so well as there were only a few chosen at the regional final to go through.
“She is panicking a bit now as she has to have another song ready, and she has already sung three, but I’m sure she will find a new song.
“We are so proud of her.”
Chloe also recently took part in Britain Does Variety, where she has made it through to the final on June 22 at Watford Palace Theatre in London.
