A budding Cramlington artists has moved a step closer to becoming one of the designers of Royal Mail’s 2013 Christmas stamps.
Northburn Primary School pupil Annabel Wooler, ten, was chosen as one of the best entries in Royal Mail’s children’s Christmas Stamp Design competition.
Annabel’s entry is one of ten that have been shortlisted in the region and 140 UK-wide.
It will go through to the next stage of the competition where judges will select their top two entries to represent the region in the national final.
Annabel has already won £100 in vouchers and £100 for her school.
During the national final, The Prince of Wales will select the two designs that will feature on this year’s First and Second Class stamps.
