Claire Ford won tickets to the concert in Newcastle, which raises money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and promises a glittering celebration of Christmas performed by some of the region’s biggest names in music, TV, comedy, sport and entertainment.

The audience can expect the usual high calibre of entertainment as in previous years with established stars such as Jason Cook, Steffen Peddie, Charlie Hardwick, The Caffrey’s, Melissa Cavanagh, The Swing Bridge Singers, Chelsea Halfpenny, Paul Smith and Rachel Unthank confirming their appearance.

Claire, who won VIP tickets for the concert on Thursday evening through the BBC Newcastle radio station, said: “I’m delighted to be attending the concert as I think that the work of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation is so important to so many people.

“I’m looking forward to seeing such quality entertainment and it will be the start of my Christmas.”

The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation funds projects within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that directly benefit cancer patients from the North East and Cumbria.
