A Hallowe’en themed spooky pet zoo featured a chance for shoppers to reconnect with their much-loved pets.
Visitors to Manor Walks shopping centre got up close with a range of animals including Storm the skunk, hermit crabs, Tanzanian tiger beetles, tarantulas, Bob the bearded dragon and more.
To add an even spookier twist, clairvoyant Lesley Shiels opened up a channel of communication with their sorely-missed late pet companions.
Vikki Mather, marketing community and engagement officer at Manor Walks, said: “The Hallowe’en-themed petting zoo and clairvoyant was a fantastic opportunity for our shoppers to become fully immersed in some entertainment inside our mall.”
“The spooky petting zoo was great fun for all ages and the children were overwhelmed by all the different types of animals that they were able to see and touch.
“In addition, acknowledging Britain’s fascination in animal spiritualists and overwhelming love for pets we invited customers to join Lesley for a chance to re-connect with their gone, but not forgotten favourite animals.”
Lesley said: “I thoroughly enjoyed myself and loved seeing all of the unusual animals in the petting zoo. It was great to help people connect to their most loved pets and love ones in the afterlife.”
