A worker at a Blyth estate agent’s office has been bold and gone bald for charity.
Kim Bailes, a member of staff at Reeds Rains’ Regent Street branch, had her hair chopped off as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Brave the Shave campaign, raising £610.
She said: “From the moment I saw the campaign, I knew I wanted to get involved and be a part of it.
“I was nervous about everyone watching, but the comments of those who were there were very encouraging.
“Some people don’t have a choice whether they lose their hair or not, so, if shaving mine raises money to help those without a choice even slightly, I’ve done something good.”
