Employees are gearing up for an annual community day to celebrate all that is good in Cramlington.
The Community Day is taking place at Manor Walks shopping centre on Friday.
It aims to bring the whole community together and provide an exciting day of events for shoppers and employees to take part in.
Events range from promoting health and awareness, to wildlife and creativity, uniting the neighbouring communities.
Throughout the day, there will be a range of activities including Health & Wellness road show; Autism Awareness; Specsavers offering advice and information; Northumberland County Council public health team promoting walking, cycling, running and keeping active; and Dementia Care.
In addition to this host of activities, students of Hill Crest School, Cramlington, are being asked to design a picture for the Manor Walks Living Wall, which is home to Black Birds, Thrush, Sparrows, Starlings and Wood Pigeons.
The wall also features climbing plants and flowers, with space to inter-weave additional pieces to add more colour.
Sarah Turnbull, marketing engagement at Manor Walks, said: “We really wanted an event that engaged with our Manor Walks shoppers.
“It’s crucial that as a key shopping & leisure destination in South East Northumberland, we are tapping into core shopper trends such as changing attitudes to health & wellness, and integrating them within our centre activities and events.”
