Community fund helps firms

AN ENGINEERING group which owns a company in Cramlington has set up a fund to help local community organisations and individuals.

To date, 19 donations have been made through British Engines’ new Community Fund, with beneficiaries ranging from a charity providing support for adults with substance abuse problems to a group of cheerleaders, and a church to help buy banners for its fairs.

Successful applications have been spread across all of the companies including CMP in Cramlington.
