An Ashington-based organisation is to hold a series of roadshows for community organisations and groups.
Wansbeck Centre for Voluntary Service (CVS) is aiming the sessions at community groups and organisations as well as people who want to set up new groups, including social enterprises.
The roadshows will highlight the benefits of Wansbeck CVS membership and how it can help your group to develop.
Each event will also feature a funding workshop delivered by the Community Foundation.
CVS chief officer Anne Lyall said: “This is an opportunity for new and emerging groups to come along and see what is on offer.
“They will be able to get information on how to access advice and support on funding, organisational development, project monitoring, managing their grants and other training options.
The first roadshow is on Tuesday, July 9, from 10am, and the CVS premises in Station Road, Ashington.
Places need to be booked on (01670) 858688 to book or for more information.
The roadshow will also be at Bedlington Community Centre, Front Street West, from 1.30pm on Monday, September 9, and at St Bartholemew’s Church Centre, Newbiggin by the Sea, from 1.30pm on Tuesday, September 24.
Anne added: “There will also be information on work placements and recruitment services, and people may also be interested in hearing about the centre’s other work, including its assisted shopping project and computer training for older people.”
