Couples planning their big day are invited to a special wedding fayre on Sunday to meet local companies involved in the wedding industry.
The event will take place on Sunday, December 7, between 11am to 3pm at Morpeth Town Hall, where more than 30 local companies will showcase their services.
Among the line up are jewellers, wedding outfitters, florists, photographers, beauticians, car hire companies and cake makers.
The Wedding Fair is free to enter and refreshments will be available.
Throughout the day, Northumberland County Council’s registrars, who officiate over civil ceremonies, will be available to meet couples and show them around the Town Hall function rooms which cater for a range of needs.
Coun Val Tyler, policy board member for community infrastructure and culture at Northumberland County Council, said: “We hope this fair will provide a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to meet and chat with potential customers.
“Our last wedding fair attracted a fantastic turn out and those who attended found it really helpful to gain specialist advice and have the time to talk to the registrars, all within one venue.”
