Young musicians proved age is no barrier to performing in concert when some of an academy’s youngest students took to the stage.
Bede Academy South held its annual summer concert for parents and other family members, giving youngsters the chance to show off their talents.
The students played solos, in duets, trios and quartets, and the evening was rounded off by the upper choir.
Music lead David Tallent said: “The concert is an opportunity for our older students to show off what they have learned and, this year, also gave our youngest musicians the chance to perform, which they don’t often get the chance to do. The most important thing is that we enjoy making music together.”
