A student from Northumberland is helping to beat cystic fibrosis by cycling solo along the Northumberland coastline.
Connor Evans is this week taking up the challenge to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as his girlfriend’s young nephew, Robbie Bell, has the condition.
Eighteen-year-old Connor, who is an IT student at Northumberland College, is this week cycling 70 miles along the coastline hoping to finish six hours later at Eyemouth in Scotland and then cycling back home again.
Connor is not only taking on the challenge alone but he will have a camera on his helmet and handlebars, plus a separate digital camera and tripod to gather footage of his journey to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis afterwards.
