Cramlington firm appoints new board member

Cramlington firm Hire Torque, known as HTL for short, has promoted its technical manager, Mike Johnson, to the role of group director of engineering.

He has also been given a seat on the board of the Nelson Park Industrial Estate company.

Mike said: “To be asked to join HTL’s board of directors is an opportunity I relish. My new role allows me to strategically enhance HTL’s product development in line with the industry’s needs.”

“As technical manager, I have had the chance to understand what an established and successful company HTL is.”

The firm hires out, sells and maintains controlled bolting and high-pressure hydraulic engineered solutions to the oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical and related industries.
