Cramlington Rockets look for seasonal community coaches

Due to a surge in demand, Rockets Community, the community arm of rugby league club Cramlington Rockets, are looking for seasonal coaches.

Enthusiastic coaches are required to support the club’s record-breaking sports camps held during the school holidays in Northumberland.

The Rockets Camps have seen interest explode in recent years, with 132 children attending the most recent ones.

“This is a good opportunity both for those looking for experience or those who have done this sort of role before” said community manager Steve Beaty.

“Our Rockets Camps, which are based in Cramlington and Alnwick, are the biggest in the north east and an excellent way to get involved with one of the UK’s most innovative clubs.

“Successful applicants can expect generous rates of pay to work alongside experienced coaches and a flexible approach to fit around work or study schedules.”
