Cricket club scores cash boost for kit

A junior cricket club is celebrating after scoring a cash boost.

Youngsters at Bates Cottages Cricket Club receive a cheque for £300 from Seaton Delaval Masons.

Bates Cottages Cricket Club received a cheque for £300 from the Seaton Delaval Masons group for their junior cricket teams.

The money will be used for new kit and equipment for the young players.

Representatives from the Masons went along to hand over the cheque at an indoor practice sessions taking place at Astley High School.

Outdoor practice has now started at the club, taking place every Friday from 6pm to 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend.
