Neighbourhood officers are inviting residents and visitors to Manor Walks Shopping Centre to see them at the event on Saturday from 10am to 3pm, outside the Bonmarche store.

Officers offer crime prevention advice on keeping homes, vehicles and people safe from crime.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Kelliher said: “We’re inviting people to call at our information stand and stop and have a chat with their local neighbourhood officer.

“Manor Walks is a busy location with lots of people shopping and working here and we want to make ourselves as accessible as possible to visitors and residents alike, so if you’re in the area please do call in and speak to us.

“We moved into our new office here in the shopping centre in November and are really pleased with our new location in the heart of the centre, making it easy for people to call in and see us.”

The Cramlington neighbourhood team office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (above the Bonmarche store).

Members of the public can call in to report a crime, ask for crime prevention advice, or arrange to meet an officer to discuss any local policing issues.
