The Home Office data, released on its www.police.uk website, shows that the number of offences across Northumbria Police’s Alnwick, Berwick and Morpeth neighbourhoods fell by nearly 100 in September compared to August’s statistics. The Home Office stresses that incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations.
