“I’m learning a lot about the business and I’ve been welcomed as an integral part of the team. It’s a great opportunity for me to show what I can do to help the business move forward.”

Sara said: “I like our clients to feel that we are part of their organization which is why I make a point of learning about their culture, history and work ethos so that I can source the best possible person for the job.

“Daniel’s role wouldn’t suit everyone due to the fact that it involves permanent night work but his attitude and the initiative he’s already shown have reinforced Laidlers’ decision that he is the right person for this career move.”

Sara has also recently recruited other staff at Laidlers; Sue Fowler from Felton, Danielle Grimshaw from Bedlington, and Claire Christer from Cramlington.

Harry added: “We’ve come a long way since the days of my grandfather’s milk and potato business but our philosophy is the same; treat our customers well and provide the best service by using the best people and Sara has helped us to achieve that.”
