A dad from Blyth is putting his wheels in motion to raise money for charity.
David Wilson will be cycling 120 miles non-stop in a Coast to Coast challenge to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
The 35-year-old will ride alone from Silloth in Cumbria to Blyth on Saturday, June 22.
David runs his own window repair business and lives in South Beach, Blyth, with his wife Amanda and 11-year-old daughter Faith.
He said: “I decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK because of the fantastic work they do.
“I know a lot of people who have gone through cancer so it was the best charity to pick.
“I’m cycling 120 miles non-stop in one day, which is quite a challenge, so I think that is why I’m doing it alone.
“I couldn’t convince anyone else.”
