Two charities have the wheels in motion after supporting communities for two decades.
After nearly 20 years of supporting groups and individuals across Northumberland, community charities WATBus and WATBike are enjoying life in the fast lane.
Following WATBus’s success, founder Colin Hall established a second project, WATBike, took on new full time employee Barry Armstrong, and enrolled on a free programme of digital training on offer from iNorthumberland Business Support.
Colin said: “I have been blown away by the online response I have had from communities in the north east.
“We are grateful to all of our volunteers and I am so pleased that I have been able to bring Barry on board to help us grow even more.”
“I have been very impressed with the quality of the business support on offer, especially as they didn’t cost me anything.
“I found that the training has really helped with the growth of both my organisations.”
