Donate your unwanted gifts to local charity fund

A LOCAL wildlife charity is appealing for any unwanted Christmas gifts to raise funds for the organisation.

Blyth Wildlife Rescue is accepting unwanted gifts to sell at fundraising stalls to raise funds for the care of sick and injured wild animals.

Every year the organisation spends more than £4,000 on the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wild animals across Tyneside and Northumberland, with the help of more than 20 volunteers.
