A TEENAGER has helped produce a DVD highlighting the issues facing underprivileged youngsters in Blyth.
Karl Hanson, pictured, assisted in putting together the DVD for a conference held by Northumberland County Council’s child poverty action group.
The 16-year-old said: “I enjoyed participating in the making of the film, and it made me think about what poverty really means.
“Watching the finished DVD gave me a great sense of achievement.”
The film was a joint effort by Blyth’s Silx Teen Bar and the council’s youth service.
