Rugby league players and staff had an ‘eggs-ellent’ Easter break as a multi-sports event was hailed a success.
The Cramlington Rockets Community Department hosted a record six days of rugby camps over the holidays.
Activities included an Easter egg hunt, ‘it’s a knock out’ style competitions and lots of fun sports.
Community development manager Steve Beaty said: “These two weeks have been exciting, challenging and rewarding all at the same time.
“These camps are the biggest of their type in the north east and the demand just keeps getting bigger and bigger, which is why we expanded them.”
