Sixth form students in Northumberland booked in for a library learning experience.
Year 12 pupils from Bedlingtonshire Community High School were invited along to Newcastle University’s Robinson Library.
The group was given a tour of the facility and attended a tutorial about how to develop research skills, reference material correctly and understand plagiarism.
The teenagers, who are studying English literature, film studies and history, were then able to use the library’s resources to conduct their own independent research in preparation for their Year 13 work.
They were also invited to join the library to enable them to use its facilities over the coming year.
