Miller Homes North East collected more than 450 Easter eggs for three charities, including Action for Children in Bedlington.

Andrew Somerville, regional sales manager at Miller Homes North East, said: “I’d like to say a big thank-you to the members of the community who were kind enough to donate, as well as some of our subcontractors.

“We were overwhelmed by the fantastic response.”

Gill Physick, children’s services manager at Action for Children, said: “Our families were absolutely delighted with the surprise delivery of Easter eggs from Miller Homes.

“It’s safe to say that the Easter bunny has been incredibly generous to our children’s centre this year so thank you.”

“When so many parents already struggle to make their money last with everyday living costs, affording something extra such as Easter eggs and other gifts can be difficult, particularly in large families.”

Miller Homes’ north east developments include The Acres in Bedlington, Wheatfields in Seaton Delaval, and Portland Wynd in Blyth.
