The team at a family-run homecare business based in Blyth is delighted with its first year progress.
Mrs O’s Caring Hands has been slowly built up since it was started in December 2016. Following an excellent first year, it has created jobs for 20 staff.
It has welcomed Rachel Clements as registered manager. Rachel has a long and successful history in the health and social care sector.
Jacqui Wilson, who has years of office experience, joined the company as office clerk.
Company director Joan Wilson was nominated by clients and staff and reached the regional finals for the Putting People First Award and Registered Homecare Manager Award at the Great British Care Awards.
She was among the runners-up for both accolades, pictured.
In December, Mrs O’s received the results of its first CQC inspection – it was rated Good overall.
