A county-based global oil and gas firm is prearing to launch into the Chinese market within the new year.
FES International recently trebled their turnover in the last four years from £5m to £15m, the Ashington-based engineering firm forecasts a turnover in excess of £16m by 2016, despite the falling oil prices and current challenging market environment.
Managing director, Rob Anderson, said: “We intend to continue growing by entering new markets aggressively. We already have a very strong, prospective order book in China which we anticipate will convert to some large contracts in the new year.
“Having strengthened the team in the last 12 months this puts us in good shape for entering the Chinese market.”
