Farmer is rewarded for long service record
Donald W.J. Maguire, of Lowick, began working in agriculture 37 years ago when he left school.
He joined the Colgan family in 1978 at their farm in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, moving to Lowick Hall Farm in Northumberland with his family when the Colgans bought it in 2002.

Hide AdMr Maguire, who has held many responsibilities from crop production to livestock, continues to work there today.
And he has now been presented with a Long Service Award from the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS).
The award was presented by RUAS president Billy Robson in front of all of the Colgan family, along with Mr Maguire’s wife Maggie and children Diane and David.
