Flying Scotsman passes through Northumberland
Steam train enthusiasts turned out in force to watch the Flying Scotsman as it passed through Northumberland.
Dozens of spectators were in and around Berwick station to watch it cross over the iconic Grade 1 listed Royal Border Bridge.
It stopped for around half an hour to take on wayer before continuing its journey north to Edinburgh.
Earlier, it had set off from York, passing through Darlington, Durham, Newcastle, Morpeth and Alnmouth.
The locomotive is on a three-day excursion to Edinburgh and Fife.
