A Northumberland nursery has been judged as outstanding in all areas by Ofsted inspectors for the fourth consecutive time.
Little Angels Fun Club and Nursery in Cramlington was given the rating by inspectors who visited recently.
The report commented on the inspirational teaching at the nursery, and said children were “enthralled by exciting activities that support progress in all areas of learning”,” and “staff consistently give children abundance of attention, time and praise”.
Christine Wilson, manager of Little Angels, which also operates an Ofsted outstanding nursery in Fenham, said she was delighted the nursery had received its fourth consecutive oustanding rating.
“The Ofsted report is a terrific external endorsement of the outstanding care andlearning the children at our nursery receive on a daily basis,” she said.
“We’re really proud of what staff, parents and children have achieved here over the last 16 years since we first opened.
“And we’re proud to be playing our part in giving children the best possible start in life.”
The inspectors found Little Angels staff to be “imaginative, innovative and skilled” who “grasp every opportunity to extend children’s learning”.
They also reported that “staff are extremely respectful and polite at all times to the children and each other. Therefore, children learn to build relationships, understand the feelings of others and their behaviour is remarkably good.”
