A free shuttle bus is being launched to make it easier for people to access a number of prime destinations in Blyth during the summer.
Blyth Town Team has arranged for the service to run every Friday and Saturday throughout August, starting this week.
It will provide transport to Blyth Quayside, Ridley Park, the beach and market.
The bus can be accessed at the car park entrance of the Keel Row shopping centre and will run a half hourly return service commencing at 10am with the last bus returning to Blyth for 5pm.
Malcolm Hutchinson, Blyth town manager, said: “It provides everyone with an opportunity to experience all the delights that Blyth has to offer without worrying about car parking restrictions at many of these popular destinations.”
