Free try of courses at campuses

Northumberland College is inviting members of the public to try some of its more popular courses for free during February half term week.

One-day workshops will give people the chance to take part in a range of practical activities and sample the selection of courses offered at the college’s Ashington and Kirkley Hall campuses.

The hands-on sessions are open to all ages but will be particularly useful to pupils in Year 11 looking for their next steps after GCSEs.

Those interested are being urged to book their place in advance for activities ranging from electrical engineering to graphics and character design at the Ashington campus and tasters in animal care and working in the farming industry at the college’s Kirkley Hall campus.

The full list of workshops can be found at along with course details.
