Staff at a housing firm have raised more than £350 for a charity which supports premature or sick newborn babies and their families.
Homes For Northumberland held a fun day to raise money for Tiny Lives, which was nominated as the company’s corporate charity last year.
The fun day, which included a quiz, raised a total of £362.47 for the charity which supports families of children being cared for in the Special Care baby unit at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary. Paul Harrison, director of corporate services at HfN handed the cheque to Louise Carroll and Adele Ritson from Tiny Lives, at a presentation last week.
He said: “This is an amazing charity and one which staff at HfN were very keen to support.
“Everyone really enjoyed the Christmas fun day and we were delighted to be able to raise so much for this worthwhile cause.”
